The “Cyber Security Ecosystem Development Summit” which was realized for the third time this year, took place at the Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK) conference hall on 20 February 2020.

Transport and Infrastructure Deputy Minister Ömer Fatih Sayan, Türksat CEO Cenk Şen, Personal Data Protection Authority President Faruk Bilir and Turkey Informatics Association Chairman Rahmi Aktepe attended the summit, which was lent communication support by Türksat.

By underlying the fact that the desired level in the field of cyber security had not been reached Deputy Minister Sayan added that in regards to the development of national and local cyber security technologies, stakeholders must effectively work in order for Turkey to be in such a position to compete in the world market.

Türksat CEO Şen noted that digital transformation is continuing rapidly and that cyber security is not a result of something but an overall process. Underlying the fact that the most important principle of cyber security is transformation and that Türksat achieved this transformation with various technologies.
