The services of the Mesleki Yeterlilik Kurumunun- MYK (Vocational Qualifications Authority), which determines the principles of national qualifications in the technical and vocational fields, have been integrated into the e-Government Portal.

Zerey, General Director for the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs, along with Communication General Manager- Ensar Kılıç, Türksat CEO- Cenk Şen and MYK President- Adem Ceylan attended the signing ceremony of the protocol organized at the Ministry for the integration of the mentioned services into the e-Government Portal.
 
Zerey, indicated that they are pleased with the integration of MYK, which carries out tasks related to inspecting, measuring and documenting, to the e-Government portal. He added the inquiry and verification of  MYK professional qualification certificate, institutions authorized to issue certificates and rates, exam history inquiry, document status, incentive and grant inquiry, the inquiry and verification of the Europass mobility document, and the inquiry of certificates are among the services to be integrated.

"E-Government Portal has taken its place in the mobile world"

Communications General Manager, Kılıç stated that the purpose of e-Government Portal is to provide e-government services of public institutions to citizens, businesses and public institutions from a single access point in a safe and effective manner.
 
Kılıç stated that users can access the services offered with their e-Government password, electronic signature, internet banking, mobile signature and new Turkish Republic ID cards. “In 2008, we started with 22 services as part of this project, and today we have reached over 850 services and close to 32 million users. 20 of these services are barcoded documents. These barcoded documents are considered official documents and can be used by the citizens in related public institutions.”
 
With mobile applications being developed for different purposes, the e-Government Portal has taken its place in the mobile world by offering more than 10 million users with nearly 500 services. Kılıç said:
 
“Expanding the use of e-Government Portal services and increasing its effectiveness is among our primary goals. In this direction, we continue to work by making the use of mobile signatures more economical and adoptable by citizens, as well as integrating into the portal highly mature e-government services that appeal to a wide range of people. Integration of MYK into the portal will also contribute greatly to the cause.”
 
“Within the scope of obtaining documents in 48 professions”
 
MYK President, Ceylan pointed out that they are working to provide services in accordance with the continuously developing science and technology. He said, “Public institutions and organizations we are obliged to provide services to, as well as our citizens and corporate bodies, will be able to find out all about our institution’s area of operation and duties within the e-government framework.”
 
Ceylan reminded everyone that in Turkey it is mandatory to obtain official documents in dangerous and very dangerous professions. He continued by saying, “We announced within the scope of obtaining documents in 48 professions. Until the end of this year, for starters all 115 members of the profession will be covered under the obligation to obtain documentation in dangerous and dangerous professions.”
 
After each individual’s speech Şen, Kilic and Ceylan signed the protocol for the integration of MYK services into e-Government Portal.
