Organized by the Information Media Association, a videoconference event titled, “Information and Telecommunication Combat on the Outbreak” was attended by Transportation and Infrastructure Deputy Minister Dr. Ömer Fatih Sayan along with executives of NGOs operating in the fields of mobile communication and satellite broadcasting.
At the event, which was broadcasted on Türksat’s YouTube channel and Türksat’s Information Channel, Deputy Minister Sayan noted that Turkey has put up a stable and successful fight against the new coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic, he added, “We have been in contact with all our operators and stakeholders since day one of the outbreak.”

Our sector also lent significant support to the We Are Enough for Each Other Campaign. We, as the ministry, took all necessary precautions during this period.”
Sayan also extended his gratitude the officials of Karel, which helped realize the online event program with its domestic technological solutions.
