On behalf of Turkey, Türksat attended Eutelsat IGO’s (European Telecommunications Satellite Organization) 41st Meeting of the Assembly of Parties, which is comprised of 49 member countries, and was organized  between the dates of 10 – 11 April 2019 in Paris.

At the Meeting of the Assembly of Parties, which consists of Eutelsat IGO’s decision making body, the main agenda was to review the activities of the international satellite operator, Eutelsat SA, and evaluate the selection process for the Advisory Board set to serve during the 2019-2021 period.

At the Meeting of the Assembly of Parties, for the duration of two years Turkey, Azerbaijan, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Luxemburg, Hungary and Poland were elected to the Advisory Board Committee to advise the Secretary General on issues determined by the Assembly of Parties and on matters concerning the management of the organization.

Throughout Eutelsat IGO’s Meeting of the Assembly of Parties, Turkey’s Ambassador to France, İsmail Hakkı Musa and his colleagues lent their support to the delegates of Türksat.
