As part of the Türksat 5A and Türksat 5B communication satellite projects, the Technology Transfer Training program, which has been taking place since 2 July 2018 in Toulouse, France, has been completed. The Technology Transfer Team, which consisted of 12 Türksat engineers, successfully completed four different stages of theoretical and practical “On-the-Job Certified Training” given by Airbus and IAS.

At the certificate ceremony, organized in Toulouse, Türksat CEO Cenk Şen, Vice President Hasan Hüseyin Ertok, Airbus Executive Vice President of Space Systems Nicolas Chamussy, IAS Managing Director Pierre Valenti, Türksat Satellite Programs Director Selman Demirel, R&D and Satellite Design Director Tayfun Dar, along with the engineers who completed the training program, were all in attendance.

At the event, CEO Şen, who addressed the participants at the event, expressed his gratitude to the engineers for having successfully completed the training and emphasized plans for the engineers to contribute to the Türksat 6A project.

During his speech, Şen addressed the young engineers by stating that he believed they will carry not only our company but also our country to a better position in the technology field. He later thanked Airbus Executive Vice President of Space Systems Nicolas Chamussy and IAS representatives individually.
